What is JusTalks?
JusTalks is a student initiative that is part of a campus-wide movement dedicated to building an empathic and self-reflective community. We believe that the first step in this process is to foster dialogue and communication that confronts privilege and engages with difference. Members of our community must have the tools to hold conversations about power structures and identity. JusTalks provides these in an accessible space that allows people to practice vulnerability and resilience. Ultimately, we hope that JusTalks fosters a shift in campus culture towards community accountability.
J-Term 2017 is the first time all first years will participate in a one-day JusTalks event.
